Reports and exports¶
The Reports area supports portfolio analysis, reusable custom reports, executive briefs, schedules, and downloadable output.
The report navigation includes Overview, Library, Studio, Schedules, and Board Brief.
Start from a portfolio template¶
- Open Reports > Overview.
- Choose a predefined template, such as KPIs, trends, overdue actions, or risks by owner.
- Review the comparison window and available filters in Report Studio.
- Select Preview report.
- Adjust the scope if needed.
- Select Generate & download for PDF or Excel.
Build a custom report¶
- Open Report Studio or select New report from the Library.
- Give the report a clear name and optional purpose.
- Choose the date range. New reports begin with Last 30 days.
- Set keywords and optional filters such as status, business unit, region, or residual score.
- Choose columns and drag them into the required order. Search and arrow controls are also available.
- Preview the result.
- Choose whether to share the report.
- Save it, then generate the output.

Relative ranges remain relative when scheduled. Last quarter is the last completed calendar quarter; Last 3 months is a rolling window.
Use the Library¶
The Library lists personal, shared, and predefined reports. Filter by All, Mine, Shared with me, or Predefined, and sort by name or last run. A shared report can be view-only by design.
Schedule delivery¶
- Save the report first.
- Open Schedules and create a schedule.
- Choose daily, weekly, every two weeks, or monthly.
- Select a searchable time zone and preview the next run times.
- Choose in-app, email, or both.
- Search for recipients by name or email.
- Save and verify the schedule row.
Recipient access is checked again at every run. Deactivated users are skipped, and results remain limited to what each recipient may access.
Board Brief and recent activity¶
Board Brief creates a concise printable executive package from selected views and estimates its length. It requires full-register access. Recent activity shows current and recent report jobs with Download or Retry actions.
If an export is blocked¶
RiskVault estimates the row count and enforces administrator-defined limits. Narrow filters when an export is too large. Eligible large exports can run in the background, with progress and download links delivered through Notifications.
